ANGELA LEGG

 

Angela Legg is an actor, performance artist and writer. Her interests include Community theatre, Site-Specific theatre, Experimental theatre, Shakespeare and Musicals. Currently writing a play “Take a Deep Breath” in association with GLYPT young writers. She provided a voice over for “Tortoise”  in the role of nurse for Little But Fierce Theatre at the Cockpit Theatre and New Wolsey Theatre 2014.  She was also part of “A Shakespearean Carol” 2013 Production where she played Child Scrooge with Little but Fierce Theatre as part of the Christmas Stage Festival, Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon. She wrote and performed “So they tell me”, a solo performance about Christine Sizemore’s case of Multiple Personality Disorder. Her musical theatre includes performing “Anything Goes” from Anything Goes and “One” from A Chorus Line.

 

SARA BERNATE

 

Sara Bernate is a Colombian performance artist, comedian, writer, actress and stage director. So far she has written a play called “Loneliness in the Blood”. She has directed, written and perform a solo piece called “Life After Winter”. She also writes and directs her stand up comedy routines, so far she has done “Happy Birthday RVT/ I am NOT a lesbian” and “Shy Lesbian-Night Out”, both shown at the RVT (London, UK) and both in collaboration with Duckie.

“Life After Winter” is a solo semi-autobiagtaphical performance about suicide. It plays with whom Sara is in real life and in a character. It is an interactive performance. This performance is about learning how to live with suicidal thoughts and get art out of depression. It is telling a sad story with a happy face.

AS A TEAM

 

Both Sara an Angela took part in an intensive three day research and development process for “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” at the BAC in Sept 2014 with GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN. They were also part of “People Show 126″ in 2014, where they performed in and devised collaboratively a site specific production at the RAM brewery development site in Wandsworth. They were also part of a site site Specific Production at Kings Cross in 2013.
